The ninth is undoubtedly one of the prettiest holes in Southwest Michigan. A smattering of trees defines the right and left sides, and the fairway simply slopes down toward the hole once the hill is cleared. When you crest the hill, take a moment and enjoy one of the best views on the course.

While this hole tempts many to go for it in two, it also features one of the best-protected greens on the course. Four large bunkers line the hill down the left side, while the pond and a large willow threaten on the right side.

PRO TIPS

The best tee shot is a long iron to the middle of the fairway. Be sure to hit your approach below the hole if you want to make birdie or par. Putting from above the hole is a very difficult two-putt.
